The grocery retail company, Hannam Supermarket Burnaby opened 1998 and this set the way for Vancouver’s own Korean community. After that, more Hannam supermarkets were opened at Surrey, Robson and Langley locations. In addition to many departments found in a regular supermarket, most Hannam Supermarket has an in-house deli, sushi, and home appliances department.

Duties
- Provides information to customers by verifying understanding of request; answering question; offering assistance
- Resolves billing problems by identifying the problem; explaining procedures; forwarding required adjustments
- Accomplishes customer service and organization mission by completing related results as needed
- Assist with other duties as assigned
- Assist clients in the in-store checkout process

Duties
- Measure and mix ingredients into dough according to a recipe for bread, pies, rolls and pastries, etc.
- Roll, cut the dough according to the specification of the recipe
- Mold dough in desired shapes, and trim overlapping edges with knife
- Mix pie fillings and pour into pie shells
- Make icings with proper ingredients and decorate pastries
- Check equipment to ensure that it meets health and safety regulations
